Meet Mr. Bird, the Yellow Naped Amazon
Mr Bird is a 20 something year old Yellow Naped Amazon. He has a definite preference for men and will be really rude if he doesn't like you. He plays with toys, loves treats, and has a diet of pellets, fruits and veggies.
Mr. Bird has a colorful vocabulary and will frequently argue with employee or other birds. He says a few unsavory things as well, but we don't encourage that and ignore him when he says it.
Adoptions require multiple visits over the course of at least 2 weeks before the bird can go home with you. We look for the interaction between the bird and the prospective owner. It's important that the bird can form a bond with you and if the bird makes it clear that it does not like you, then the adoption will not be possible.
